As this update takes place, I can finally reveal the changes to the Scout Association. Mr. Purdy, Chief Scout says we are "an organization of change". Well maybe. The new age groups aren't much different. Beavers remain the same, as do the Cubs. Scouts changes from 10 1/2 to 14 1/2. He new section, Rovers, is 14 1/2 to 18, and Ventures is now 18 to 25. The uniforms (which I am against the most) can be viewed on the walls in the Scout hut. You can form your own opinions from there.

Group Camp took place last month at Downe Scout Camp, Downe. There was at least one member from each section in attendance, and they all had a good time. The activities varied widely. There were Go-Karts, Archery, Water Rockets, Adventure Course, Pond Dipping, Paper Aeroplanes and the Camp Olympics. A good time was had by all.
